Grinding Gear Games plans to release the 3.25.1 patch later this week, featuring changes to the Recombinator, Thaumaturgic Dust, and Tier 17 Map modifiers. Here is a preview of the patch notes before its deployment.
The patch notes are subject to change before release. The 3.25.1 update will first be available on PC, with consoles to follow shortly after.
3.25.1 Patch Notes
Settlers Improvements
- Thaumaturgic Dust has been reworked to affect Shipping Risk and Rewards differently. It now adds to Shipment Value and scales rewards based on other goods being shipped, leading to a more balanced impact on risk and rewards.
- When Recombinating items, rarer Modifiers now have a higher chance of being selected.
- Players now spawn further away from the portal in the Admiral Valerius Boss Area to prevent accidental exits.
- Added Uber Boss Fragments, missing Fossils, and the Blighted Scouting Report to the Currency Exchange.
General Improvements and Changes
- Adjustments to Tier 17 Map Modifiers include changes to existing modifiers and the addition of a new one that affects players’ recovery rate per second from Leech.
- Certain mods will no longer roll on Tier 17 Maps, providing a different gameplay experience.
- Several bug fixes have been implemented to address various issues and improve gameplay.

- Fixed various bugs related to gameplay mechanics, items, and boss encounters for a smoother experience.
