In an exciting new update, Apex Legends introduces the Space Hunt Event, running from September 17 to October 8, 2024. Players can participate in the all-new objective-based mode called Knockout, where squads compete to capture zones and earn points. By collecting Evo and Bounty Bucks, players can unlock rewards in the Reward Shop, including two Epic skins for Conduit and Valkyrie.
The Space Hunt Event also features the introduction of the Mythic “Serpent’s Sting” universal melee item, available in Event Packs along with 36 themed items. Players can unlock milestone rewards by collecting these limited-time cosmetics and completing challenges.
Additionally, a new mode called Knockout is introduced, offering a Battle Royale experience where squads must capture zones and collect Evo to earn points. The five lowest-scoring squads are eliminated after each round, leading to a high-stakes Sudden Death finale.
Players can also take on Amped Knockout Trials to permanently unlock specific Legends, with Crypto and Wattson being the featured Legends during different challenge windows. Completing both trials will reward players with an Epic tiered badge.
To enhance gameplay, the Mythic “Serpent’s Sting” universal melee item comes with extra customizations, such as the “Crimson Ripper” holographic Kill Counter. Players can fill the holographic triangles on the melee item by eliminating enemies during matches, with a unique crown holographic appearing for Kill Leaders.
By completing daily event challenges and earning Bounty Bucks, players can visit the Space Hunt Reward Shop to select their rewards and track their progress with event badges. The Reward Shop offerings will rotate midway through the event on September 28, 2024.
