September Known Issues Update #1

Monsters Not Spawning Issue Resolved

In a recent update for The First Descendant in August, several major issues were identified. These issues will be continually updated in September. Players are encouraged to stay informed of these updates while playing the game.

On September 5th, an issue with monsters not spawning during Infiltration Operations was discovered, preventing players from completing the mission. A maintenance-free patch will be released shortly to address this issue.

In August, other known issues included a duplicate display of the “Kuiper Storage Tank” mission icon in Sterile Land Repository, an issue with approaching the Target Item automatically when there is a Research Item from the Research Menu, a misprint of paint name in the pop-up page when purchasing applied paint, and a misprint of ‘Applied Value’ when trying to equip a module in ‘Change Module Socket Type’ mode.

Additionally, crashes have been reported on some Intel 13th and 14th generation CPUs when launching the game, with an error message stating ‘Out of video memory’. Adjusting power limits in the BIOS may partially resolve this issue. The developers are awaiting a response from Intel regarding this issue.

Temporary solutions were provided for client termination issues with certain antivirus programs, such as Bitdefender and McAfee Agent. Instructions on how to resolve these issues were included in the update.

Lastly, solutions were offered for instances where Easy Anti-Cheat is not functioning correctly. Players are advised to refer to the FAQ for solutions, and if the issue persists, contact customer support with relevant screenshots.

Thank you.
